Status Update for MHCS Offices
Updated on May 20, 2020 at 9:45 a.m.
We wanted to provide an update on our office status as the state lifts restrictions on most businesses. Currently, our offices in West Des Moines and Winterset remain closed to the public until further notice as we continue to protect the health and safety of our staff and our clients. We understand that some clients still need to provide us with paper documents, and we have established procedures to allow you to drop off information in each of our offices described below. Please note we are still not having client meetings or visitors to our offices.
If you need to drop off documents at the West Des Moines office, we ask that you call the front desk at 515-288-3279 upon arrival and inform them you are dropping off sensitive documents. The staff will ask you to enter the building lobby and place your documents over the barrier onto the steps. One of our staff will proceed to pickup the documents and route them to the appropriate person. We remind you not to bypass the barrier and to stay in the lobby as the office remains closed. The front desk in West Des Moines has someone available between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
In Winterset, we have a mail slot in our front door that will accommodate the delivery of most of your information. If you have documents or an envelope that is too large for the opening, please knock on the door and our receptionist will assist you. Feel free to call the office at 515-462-1882 to let us know you are coming. A staff member will be available to assist clients from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. through noon on Fridays.
Thank you for your cooperation during these times. We will continue to be here to serve your needs and help you through these unprecedented times.
