MHCS Announces Appointment of New Shareholder

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (JANUARY 20, 2021) – McGowen Hurst Clark Smith (MHCS), a certified public accounting and business advisory firm, announces the promotion of Nate Beck, CPA from Tax Principal to Shareholder, effective immediately.

Nate joined MHCS in September 2014 and leads the Tax department. Nate is originally from Guthrie Center, Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University with his bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accounting. With over 14 years of previous experience in the accounting industry, Nate works with a wide variety of clients in his capacity of the leading the firm’s tax department. In addition, Nate is actively involved in the firm’s business valuation and litigation support practice areas.
